David P. Stenhouse

Quoted in Computerworld, Laptop Magazine, Businessweek, Salon Magazine, SC Magazine UK, and numerous other print and online news outlets, David Stenhouse brings years of electronic discovery and computer forensics experience assisting law enforcement, law firms, and corporate clients in the midst of civil litigation.  At his core, David is a computer forensics examiner with hundreds of examinations in his experience.  He has acted as a neutral computer forensics expert in numerous cases appointed by the court. David has also been hired to act as a special advisor to the court, providing assistance in the understanding of technical concepts.

David began his computer forensics career as a Special Agent in the United States Secret Service.  In addition to his protection and investigative duties, he was assigned to the Electronic Crimes Special Agent Program (ECSAP), where he captured and examined electronic evidence.  In his experience as a Special Agent, David executed federal search warrants to perform seizures of numerous computer systems and worked with local police departments in need of electronic evidence assistance. Prior to his employment with the U.S. Secret Service, he served as a Trooper with the Washington State Patrol, patrolling Snohomish and Chelan counties.  

David has testified in State court in numerous criminal and civil cases and has testified in Federal court as an expert witness in computer-generated evidence.  For over a decade, he volunteered his time to work with students at the University of Washington School of Law and Seattle University, providing experience in working with computer forensics and electronic discovery experts.
